It is my great pleasure to invite you to the 2026 AsRES–GCREC Joint International Real Estate Conference, which will be held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, from July 13–16, 2026. As Conference Chairperson, I warmly welcome you to join us in sharing your ideas, presenting your latest research, and contributing your insights to this important gathering.

The global housing and real estate industry faces significant challenges, but it also stands at the forefront of transformative opportunities driven by technological advancements. With this in mind, the theme of our conference is “Innovation in Real Estate and High-Quality, Sustainable Development.” We hope to bring together diverse perspectives to explore innovative solutions that promote a thriving, sustainable real estate industry and advance the vision of “livable housing for all.”

Our host city, Hangzhou, is a remarkable blend of natural beauty, historical richness, and modern innovation. With a history dating back to 222 BCE, Hangzhou is home to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites—the West Lake Cultural Landscape, the Grand Canal of China, and the Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City. It is also a hub for cutting-edge enterprises like Alibaba, DeepSeek, and Geely. Having successfully hosted major international events such as the G20 Summit (2016), the 19th Asian Games (2023), and the 5th World Congress of Biosphere Reserves (2025), Hangzhou offers the perfect setting for meaningful discussions and collaborations.
